It's here! Read more to see what new products have been unveiled at the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2008!

Earlier this morning, the Shizuoka Hobby Show took place in Japan. There were a few airsoft vendors there, the most noticable of which were Tokyo Marui and Marushin. Let's get right to the point, here's what was there:

First up, the Tokyo Marui stand.

The AKS74U is full metal, and sports a blowback feature like that of it's predecessor, the AK74MN.

The small battery will most likely be placed in the forgrip, because the upper receiver will probably house the blowback mechanism.

The older AK74MN's bolt (left) may look similar, but it is larger than the bolt used in the new AKS74U (right)

Above is a comparion of both the new AKS74U and the AK74MN. At the show, the Tokyo Marui representatives stated that the AKS74U will be cheaper than their blowback AK74MN

Unfortunately, due to the fact that this is NOT a "new gun", it will not feature the blowback system found in the AK's. This main body is that of a normal M4, with some parts from an S System. However, the RIS is brand new.

The gas tube is installed inside of the handguard. The battery is housed in the stock.

The Noveske-styled flash hider does not have trademarks on it, and as such, is not a replica of a real one.

The MEU 1911 is compatible with M1911A1 parts such as the trigger, hammer, inner barrel, etc. That means it will be easily customizable with aftermarket parts.

It has a Delta hammer installed.

Unfortunately, the slide does not have Springfield trademarks.

Because they designed the 1911 to be scaled exactly as the real one is, the grip is a grip of the like found on real steel 1911's. The trigger isn't actually adjustable, as it is made to appear.

Tokyo Marui got a license from NOVAK, so the ironsights are much improved.

EBB Mac 11 Ingram.

Detonics Combat Master.

A new series of face masks, featuring goggles with anti-fog fans.

And Tokyo Marui announced their next two products, which are to be a Beretta Px4 Storm and a Five-seveN.

Second, the Marushin stand.

An 8mm Glock 21

8mm Nambu Type 14

Bren Ten

Mateba 2007

8mm Cop 357. Very interesting...

Mauser M712

So in all, there were some very interesting products announced today.
