After hearing a lot about the Stealth .25g green BB's, most of which was negative, I decided to get some of my own. I recieved mine from www.blazingtoys.com, just in time for a nice saturday skirmish. So I used my Stealth .25g's and was very presently surprised. The games were played on a hilly open area, which called for some long distance skirmishing. On top of this it was fairly windy making it perfect for testing the heavier BB's. I put it through three different guns. A KWC M9, TM M16a2, and TM Steyr AUG Civ. All stock weapons which came up with impressive and positive results.
When I first stepped outside I began to adjust my hop-up at usual targets located around the select field. I wasn't really expecting much, and had heard rumors of jams and was kinda scared. It went very well, the only down fall was a sligh loss in FPS. The amazing thing was that they were almost dead on accurate, and despite the slowing of speed, it traveled with the same range as .20g's! Seriously, I was shocked at how well the Stealth BB's managed to shoot with identical range, more accuracy, with a lower speed. Very excited at this I was ready for action!
I did very well with my M16a2 in the skirmish, and was pleased with the BB's performance. So far, after 1000 rounds absolutely no jams! I have actually heard people say how they jam constantly, but I'm not seeing it. As you can see above they are smooth, with no faults, and come with a unique green color. My gun operated perfectly through the skirmish as well as the AUG. (which I was on the recieving end of)
I did feel I was able to get an extra hit here and there do to the fact they were so accurate, and my opponents weren't as accurate with the wind. The main thing contributing to the accuracy, is the consistency. After firing the BB's at rapid semi-automatic, I was able to see that the BB's following one another in perfect single file. I have seen cheap BB's like Viper USA's which spread out like crazy when shooting. This makes for much better performance because you can easily adjust to where the BB is curving, or where it is missing.
The slightly slower FPS did not seem to affect me, since I did so well in the skirmish, but I'm sure that it can affect you when people are runing, since you have to lead them slightly more. Pretty easily done however, and it is worthwhile to give that up for the ability to hit opponents with ease. Probably the biggest pro about the BB's is this, that you can easily hit people when you need to. I noticed that a few situations, where I shot endlessly at the opponent with .20 grams, I could shoot 1-3 Stealth BB's and score hits.
To conclude, very impressive. I have some targets from 50' away, but I have not taken pictures yet, they will be up as soon as possible. When shooting the targets the only reason why everyone didn't hit in the three inner most circles was human error, and I truly believe that because the BBs were firing perfectly, it just was hard to keep the gun perfectly steady on a small target 50' away.
Pros
- Excellent accuracy
- Smooth firing, and NO jams
- Identical range to .20g BB's
- Very cheap price
Cons
- Slower FPS
Tests were done with stock guns, and comparisons were to high quality .20g BB's such as Airsoft Elite, Excel, and Tokyo Marui. I would highly reccomend buying these at www.balzingtoys.com and I would not worry. If it ever jams, according to my tests of 1000 rounds, it can't be more then 00.1% of your shots. But I would bet it would never happen.
You can't beat these BB's, they are cheap, you can buy them in bags of 5000 for a very good price of $17.25. A very good price considering that Marui comes in 2000 BB packs for about $15, and Excels come in 2200 for $15. I would reccomend at least trying them. I would also like to here your comments, especially if they are negative. Just post them in the message board.
