First Impressions:

Wow, this thing brings my mk23 to shame. The shear weight of it overwhelmed my senses. I pulled the slide back, nice and smooth! I release it, nice smooth and solid return! I'm already impressed. The finish is a nice matte gray tone, with the logo Elite and the type 92 Brigadier on it. I pull the trigger a few times, very nice and crisp. You can feel three clicks when you pull it slowly. Very nice, like my mk23's trigger pull, but even better. I couldn't expect more from it!

Loading Gas:

Took about 4-5 secs of Green Jet Gas. The mag got quite cold. I cocked the gun and prepped myself to shoot my sticky target. POW! The thing has got some nice recoil! This is my first gbb, and I must say it brings springers to shame! Mymk23 feels pathetic now! I got about 26 through the first load, which was really low. Then again, the gun was really cold from being outside earlier, so I heated it up and got about 2 mags through it. It sucks up gas like a basketball player uses water to drench themselves! D= Anyways, the accuracy was awesome, I was able to hit a 50-60 feet pole that had a radius of about 3-4 inches. Made a nice loud ping. Also, the sound of the M9 is monstrous! I've seen avi's and it does it no justice at all. You have to shoot it to believe it! I shot it outside and it left an echo in my alleyway. Nice kick too!

Field Stripping:

Easy enough as it is, I had a few problems since I've never stripped a Beretta. Thanks for your how to Supergeek! You saved me! Pretty much all you do is push the button on the right side of the gun, and turn the lever on the left side of the gun down, so that it's vertical. the slide easily slides off after that. Looking at the internals, there’s a LOT of metal. Although some areas are painted badly, so the paint comes off easily. This is a plus for me since I'd like a worn looking berretta over a perfect one.

Full Metal?:

Yes, it is pretty much full metal. There are only a few parts that aren't, one being the spring guide and a couple of others. Otherwise, full metal!

Mag:

Got really cold, really quick. Hasn't leaked once yet. I'm really happy with it, except for the fact I paid about $30 for one can of Jet Green Gas. =*( I wish we had an airsoft store in Canada that wasn't that much of a rip off and easily accessible.

Safety:

Doesn't really stop the trigger, but instead stops the hammer from operating, nice touch!

Finish:

There are a few seam lines on the slide, but otherwise, it’s a very nice finish. There is a gap between the slide and the bottom section of the gun though, but it can only be seen from lower angles of the gun.

Performance with Green Jet Gas:

Very powerful! I shot my bb sticky target, and it punched holes into it consistently! My friend’s stock p90 was able to do this inconsistently, so this thing must have a decent amount of power (250 fps?) I'm not too good with my fps, but it was able to punch a hole in one side of a pop can and dent the other side. The hole was a big one too. Overall, the performance is amazing! I am planning on trying it with a mix of duster and green to see if it will still work efficiently. More to come later!

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

:.Practically full metal! Only a few parts that aren't!

:.very powerful and loud!

:.nice kick back!

:.very accurate!

:.heavy! Natural weight too, not just added weights to the piece!

:.very solid and I am not afraid of it breaking at all

:.smooth slide and return action!

:.easy to strip!

Cons:

:.Gas gulper. I get about 1-2 mags out of a fill of Green Gas. =(

:.scratches easily, but that makes it look real! I consider this a plus!

:.certain areas, the paint = badly done, easily scratched (mag, hammer)

:.the gap between the bottom half of the gun and the slide is quite visible from a bottom view

Overall:

Overall, this gun is an amazing piece, but at a cost. I love the way it feels and the quality of it, but I will pay for it with gas, since the metal slide does require more gas to function it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gun to anyone though, as it is a very nice piece! Shoots hard and accurate, feels real and looks real. What more can I ask from a gbb? Maybe a HOGUE GRIP! But that’ll come later with a threaded barrel!
