Honestly man, probably not. When I was first getting into the sport, I bought an almost identical spring XM177 for about $25, and it was pretty abominable. Cheap, flimsy one-piece plastic body, and all the internals were plastic, including the inner barrel. It shot about twenty feet because it had no hop up, and it broke after a few months of very light use. I didn't really get much out of the thing other than losing twenty bucks and learning that you get what you pay for.
If you want a good beginner spring gun, there's a decent handful of pretty darn good guns within your price range, but you definitely have to choose carefully as there are a lot of crummy spring guns out there. If you don't mind starting with a pistol, the UHC spring pistols are excellent (with the exception of revolvers, which in airsoft pretty much always suck). I've had a UHC 1911 for a couple years, and it's been one of the best $20 I ever spent. Totally durable, reliable, and shoots really nicely. I would definitely recommend that as a first gun. I've also heard a lot of knowledgeable people on this forum recommend the UTG spring MP5 as a good reliable starter. It's about twice as expensive as the UHC 1911, but holds a lot more ammo and would probably treat you better in a skirmish.

Welcome to the forum, look forward to seeing you around.
