Me neither. tongue.gif He is ruining our country. sad.gif I don't get why people like him.

People like him because everyone believes he is something different, mostly because of his deceit and ability to orate. In reality he is just another political ***hole who has an agenda. Like the old saying goes, "You throw a republican and a democrat in a bag and role them down a hill you will end up with a jackass on top everytime."

Personally I like Obama, didn't he pass the Health Care reform? Also his third way politics: not ideologically driven, and not merely political compromise. Obama has his own ideas and opinions, McCain didn't seem like the most original guy to be honest.

I literally lol'd. Yes he passed health care reform through dirty back door dealings and bribery. This same health care reform requires people to buy health care under penalty of fines and even jail time, as well as raises taxes and the deficit. If you can't tell... I wasn't in favor of the bill.

Not ideologically driven?! Dude seriously... He is a Democrat's Democrat and has engaged in a solely democratic agenda. There is nothing original about any politician. He is a tool of leftist Chicago politicians.

-Lowered taxes for 95%
-Setting up HCR
-Companies like GM are starting to pay back the bailout, with interest, meaning money made
-Improving gay equality with extending hospital rights to gay couples
-Setting up expansion of nuclear energy.

Is his presidency perfect, so far? No. Is it as bad as people make it out to be? Hell no.

I say let the voters decide. Who do you think will win the most seats in Nov? I'll give you a hint: it won't be the Democrats.

I'll get back to you on that question in November. It's not so cut-and-dry. Fringe conservative groups like the tea party are alienating some moderate conservatives, some hyper-conservatives are migrating to the Libertarian party, some undecideds aren't seeing enough progress from the democrats so they may vote republican, some people who leaned democrat last election might not like what they see and will move to republicans. There's also six months of politics left, a lot can change in that time, be it in favor of republicans or democrats.

I'm not a fan of taxes but I do realize its a necessity. So how exactly will lowering taxes create less deficit when income taxes and the like make up over 50% of the governments revenue.
