I know this forum page is based on AEGs and AEPs and that kind of stuff, but I want to be the Sniper in games and I need to know what kind of gear and sidearms I need.
First of all, I know I need a pistol sidearm, and I have that covered. And of course I have my sniper rifle choice. So I need you guys to tell me if these are good choices. But whatever you say, I'm still going to get the guns. I just need opinions and tips for future reference.
So here are my choices:
Sniper Rifle Of Choice: UHC Super 9 Pro Spring Bolt Action Rifle @ AirSplat.com
Sidearm/Pistol Of Choice: KJW M9 SOCOM Semi Automatic Tactical Gas Blowback Pistol @ AirsoftMegastore.com
Here are the links to the products:

I would be happy to offer you advice, but there's really no point seeing as how you won't change your mind anyway.

Yeah, that's a really crappy way of trying to get people to help you, my man. "I'll ignore everything you say, but would you mind spending valuable time talking anyway, just so I can blow it off?" What exactly are you hoping to get out of hearing us fire off good info if you're not going to regard it?
If you wanted some advice there kiddo, I'd advise you not to get the Super 9. I have a UHC Tactical 9, and it sucked abominably for a year, until somehow the hopup wore out, and now it shoots beautifully. Which sucked for that first year. The primary problem with getting a UHC is that they're not compatible with any other aftermarket parts. Meaning if it sucks performance wise, or breaks (and those internals suck by industry standards, trust me) then you're done. It's perfectly durable, mine's never broken, but not being able to replace anything if you wanted to is restrictive to say the least. Stock, it doesn't have the performance to be a sniper rifle, and you can't upgrade it. Much as I swear by my Tactical 9 these days, I'd advise looking elsewhere.
Now feel free to blow that off and buy the Super 9, which is even worse, anyway...

Harvey, my first gun was a UHC Tactical 9 and the thing basically imploded after going through about 4k rounds. Every time I cocked it I had to hope that the spring wouldn't randomly release before I pulled the trigger.
With that said, the Super 9 really isn't a sniper rifle. It will shoot MAYBE as far as a stock AEG, the stick magazine miss-feeds and jams the gun frequently and it just isn't a solid gun for anything besides all spring games and target shooting. This is probably useless because you said you wouldn't change your mind but if you really want a sniper rifle look at the TM vsr-10, there's a clone version that can use Tm parts but I can't remember the company at the moment.

Good to have that substantiated, thanks Ruckus. Yeah, I can't tell if I lucked up or not with it.. it sucked so badly for so long, but now half my team swears by it. Could practically shoot dimes at 150ft every time. I'm with you though, I'm sure I just got a weird one, haha.
I think the other rifle you were thinking of is the JG BAR-10? I think that's the VSR clone, at any rate. That would be a much better choice than a UHC, that's for sure.

Yeah the JG is the one I was thinking of, all I could remember of it was that it was a Something-10.

I really can't say anything that someone else hasn't already said, except for my CO2 1911 could out range and out shoot my friend's Super 9. Maybe it was just a lemon though...
If you're just getting into sniping I'd recommend a UTG M324. While it's certainly not meant to be a long term weapons package as you get more experienced and start taking on more challenging targets, it's a good rifle for the money. Not as cheap as the Super 9, but in my opinion paying a little bit more makes for a better purchase. OR, if you already own an AEG that would take easily to a marksman role, such as an M16 or an M14, you could pay $40 for a 4x scope and rings and give that role a try until you either decide it's not for you or until you can afford to pick up a better rifle.

Ooh, I'd stay away from that one too, even given that you acknowledge its limitations, which I appreciate. A dude I know bought one when he was thinking of getting into airsofting, and it was the single worst gun I've ever seen in my life. It would operate, but crap if you knew where the rounds were going. And I mean you didn't even know the general direction, other than somewhere in front of you... they would fly off up, down, wing off to the left.. different every time. Don't get a UTG anything.
Other than sucking performance wise, the bigger problem with those two guns is that they're totally proprietary, i.e. if a part goes down, it's only compatible with more of its own parts, which as far as I know you can't find. If you're going to try for a lower end sniper rifle, I'd really recommend getting a JG BAR, or something else compatible with high end aftermarket parts so you can fix it up into a smooth shooter.

Really? I had some good experiences with the one I had... But I am forgetting the score of other crappy experiences with the other ones I had the misfortune to use too... So The Airsoft Community, if you are reading this still, disregard what I put out.

Then would it not be wise to take advise from those of us that have years of field experience and save yourself the wasted money, frusteration, and mistakes of those who came before you? One would be wise to heed the knowledge of a great deal of the members of this site, most of them know their shit. But it
is your money so do as you will.
My old springer TM MP5A3(back when they made them) outshot the super 9, neither of the aforementioned are sniper rifles or anything even close to.
