Ok well I have been wanting an MP5K ras for a while but for $100 I wasn't going to get one. I ran into some G36C long rails on Depot53 the other day for $15 so I ordered them and custom fabed a metal front grip to mount them on. Here are the pictures after I got done painting it.

If you want pictures off the gun just ask.

What do you guys think?

Can I borrow it? >.>

The suppressor looks like it is angled up.
MacGyver
It is. That is my next project to put a rod in the battery sleeve that will stabilize the front sight.

SEF trigger group FTW.

Reminds me of the Well springers.

Dude I like! Is this the one you were talkin about on COD?
MacGyver
yea.

that mp5k is hot, but now its just as big or bigger then a normal mp5 now, are you going to extend the barrel into the suppressor? the RIS mounts look realy steady for being fabbed up to fit.
MacGyver
I can fabricate them into the grip if I wanted to take the time to get the mig set up right and actually take the time to get a correct bend on the grip. That was a throw together job. Right now it has a 6.08mm CA barrel cut to 230mm in it so 120mm is in the silencer.

It's just a hair shorter than a CA AUGA1. It's actually longer than my MP5, especially if I don't have my silencer on. With it on, there isn't a whole lot of difference but his is still longer. He's been talking about a shorter silencer to throw on it, but the M16->CQBR project has taken precedence for the moment.

thats probably where Im getting my silencer.
