The Gun itself:

It’s an Mp5 so of course it looks good. This is a smaller MP5 version but its versatility is amazing. Its small and compact which makes for great movement. The folding stock is a very nice feature because unlike the A5 and SD6's collapsable stock it doesn't wobble after time. Its very sturdy while folded in and out. Although with the stock in its hard to hold the grip. Its also a little short but does the job. Another nice thing about the stock are the HK trademarks! The foregrip is also surprisingly sturdy as well. You can hold the entire gun up by just holding on to it. The 3-lug mussle has threads, which is a nice feature as well. All metal and comes with thread protectors. The upper receiver is plastic (as on all Marui guns). As well as the cocking tube. Oddly they are both welded together. The receiver has a very plastic texture and feel to it, as well as its not very shiny (good or bad?). The lower Navy receiver (like again on all Marui MP5's) has a very good build quality and fell to it. The fire selector has a nice click to it. Although they seem to wear out in time. Mine being brand new it is very solid and has a nice click. The sights on all Heckler and Koch guns are great, the PDW included. The sites are all metal and adjustable. My sights are all "open" sights instead of all "closed" like my A5 has. I've almost come to like and prefer this to the closed sights. The charging handle serves no function. With the battery out you are able to cock it but with the battery in you can't. All in all this gun looks and feels great in your hands. The only thing missing from a stock PDW is a huge silencer.

Performance:

This is where the gun starts to take a dive. This gun utilizes the version 3 mechbox and an eg700 motor. The battery is a pain in the ass. I've never had so much work on just installing a battery, which is an AK by the way. The stock comes off by pushing two pins in the back and the foregrip you push the front sling mount out to get it off. Then you push the long stick battery right up the ass of the gun till it comes out by the cocking tube. You then connect the battery and wonder how you are going to fit it all in there. With some work you'll get it all to fit. It will become easier over time. I recommend charging the battery while it’s in the gun just to avoid all the potential work. Once it’s in, load up a clip (28, 50, 200, 240) and insert it. My gun has a very nice mag catch/release. It’s sturdy and yet easy to get in and out. After the mag is in and the battery is in click the switch to full or semi auto. Pull the trigger. You'll notice a nice crack when it fires. My A5 had a nice "WZAP" while the PDW had a "CRACK" A nice added foam inserted silencer works very nicely in suppressing the sound. After you've shot it a few times you'll notice that the range sucks. Don't kid yourself; this things range is not very good. For CQB purposes it’s a great gun, but for an outdoor match is not too glamorous. The accuracy is as same as the range due to the very short barrel. The hop up is were you took off the foregrip right under there it is labeled "up."

Pros:

Its a small and easy to handle weapon. The foregrip and stock and nice and sturdy. If the stock does become loose, take it off and you'll notice two screws that need to be tightened. It’s got a stock threaded barrel. Its great for CQB/Indoor games where range may not be a problem. Folding and unfolding the stock is nice and easy. It's a very comfortable gun to hold and shoot. Another pro is the price and accessories. This gun looks awesome with a long clip and silencer.

Cons:

The only real con about this gun is the range, accuracy and fps. It’s just too weak to be used in an outdoor game. Upgrading is a suggestion is you want to play outdoors. Another con is the battery. Only an AK 7 cell battery. Good for possibly 700-800 rounds (less if upgraded). It’s hard to get in and out at first also.

Overall:

This gun looks great. One of the best guns for CQB. It’s fairly cheap and is great starter gun. Stock accessories like the threaded barrel and added navy flash hider are a plus too (I did not receive a flash hider for mine.)

Looks 9/10, 10/10 with accessories on it.

Feel: 10/10, its very nice to hold.

Performance: 6/10 just not quite powerful enough.

Value: 9/10

Overall: 8.625/10
