Lets just start to say that it has a very ergonomic design. In most peoples opinion this “thing” looks butt ugly. It reminds me of hearing the stories of the “ugly’ Steyr AUG. The AUG was my first AEG and I loved it! The P90 is my 4th or 5th and I love this too. The butt stock looks a little weird because there really isn’t one. The stock is sort of incorporated into the gun itself. This feature allows it to be very compact. The selling point to me was how compact this gun really is! The regular P90 has a built-in Red dot scope. I wont lie to you, the red dot is a GREAT feature, BUT I find myself using the iron sights more that the red dot. The reason: The diameter of the red dot is way too small. It is hard to pick out targets. Once you do have the target in sight, the red dot is very accurate. The RD (red dot) has three different settings. ‘O” for off “1” for night-time/low light conditions and “2” for higher light conditions. The RD feeds off of two AAA batteries, which made me happy because I frankly don’t want that feeding off of the Mini battery. Moving to the front of the P90 you will find the flash suppressor. This is a nice looking piece and made entirely of metal. It unscrews to the right (CW) making a tracer unit with the AK/M16 adapter fit great. By loosening the small screw allows for the removal of the flash suppressor. Moving towards the rear, we come to the grips. The grips are a very strange design but I must admit they are the most comfortable I have ever used. There are many stories about how uncomfortable the P90 is to hold, but I beg to differ. You really have to find out for yourself. Moving up, we come to the mags. I really like the dummy rounds in the mag but I really don’t like the shape of the mag itself. Two can fit into a Black Hawk Vest mag pouch but just barely. The trades on the mag are very neat. “MOD. P90 50-ROUND MAGAZINE-2001-RESRICTED LAW ENFORCEMENT/ GOVERNMENT USE ONLY” is inscribed of the left face of the mag. Other things are marked on it too, like 5.7x28 and 25,50, and 10 to show amount of real bullets are left in the magazine (looks only)

Onto the receiver, this is a good-looking part of the gun. On the side is marked P90 (as seen in the pic) I decided to add a full metal receiver into my P90 making it quite heavy.

Performance:

The P90, in my opinion, performs outstandingly when stock! I was extremely impressed. The range is a bit further than an MP5’s range due to the slightly longer inner barrel. The accuracy is above average. Proper use of the RD scope makes it even better. The iron sights are a bit off (because they sit off center) but at longer ranges they work just fine. The EG1000 motor provides a great ROF. I was soooo impressed compared to my SD5 or PDW. The motor in combination with the new Version 6 Gearbox makes it a joy to shoot. The Noise produced from this gun is VERY minimal. I also have a Systema P90 replica silencer. The foam-inserted silencer doesn’t do a damn thing to dampen the noise. The gun is already quiet. The mini battery is defiantly a big disadvantage. I personally dislike the mini but I live with it. There are many options for installing a larger battery into the P90.

Overall:

This is a great gun. You really need to like the gun in order to buy it. I personally love this gun and think it looks great. As I always say, Don’t read reviews, just buy it. I have heard good and bad things about the P90 but I was NOT disappointed with it when I got it!
